Go to service mode:.

• Turn off the printer
• While holding STOP/RESET button, press and hold the POWER button.
• Release the STOP / RESET button (power button is still on hold.)
• press the STOP / RESET 6 times.
• release both buttons simultaneously. 

Reset using  ServiceTool MP287:

• Run ServiceTool MP287 software printer.
• Click Main -> Patern, the printer will print one page
• Click "EEPROM Clear"
• Click "EEPROM", the printer will print once again.
• Turn off your the printer by pressing the power button. - Turn on again - Finish
